Inconel 800-H bar is a nickel-chromium alloy steel, designed for high temperatures. Its composition contains about 30-35% nickel, 19-23% chromium and 1.5-2.5% aluminum, together with small amounts of iron, carbon, manganese and silicon Its mechanical properties include high strength, good oxidation resistance, good creep-rupture at high temperatures -Strength included. It has excellent resistance to carburization and oxidation at temperatures up to 2000°F (1093°C).
