Typically, the Duplex Ball Valve is made from duplex stainless steel grades like UNS S31803 or S32205. These alloys boast around 22% chromium, 5–6% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and nitrogen, all of which enhance their remarkable corrosion resistance and strength. The valve showcases impressive mechanical properties, including a tensile strength of about 620 MPa, yield strength of 450 MPa, and an elongation of roughly 25%. Its duplex structure effectively resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, making it perfect for high-stress and corrosive environments in demanding industries.
